Data Analyst (Fabric / Power BI)
Design data models, semantic layers, and operational dashboards for clients.
About the role
You will design and build analytics solutions for Skolte’s clients using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. This includes data modelling, dashboard design, ETL pipelines, and management reporting. You will work with data from ERP systems, accounting platforms, and operational tools to deliver insights that leadership teams actually use.
What you'll do
- Design data models and semantic layers in Power BI and Fabric
- Build financial and operational dashboards for client leadership teams
- Create ETL pipelines to connect and transform data from multiple sources
- Define KPI frameworks and reporting standards
- Connect to data sources including Business Central, Tally, Zoho, SAP, and spreadsheets
- Document data models and train client teams on self-service reporting
What we're looking for
- Strong Power BI skills — DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design
- Experience building ETL pipelines (Power Query, Fabric, or similar)
- Understanding of financial data and business KPIs
- Ability to work with messy, real-world data from multiple systems
- Clear communication skills for presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, notebooks, data pipelines)
- PL-300 certification
- SQL proficiency
- Experience with ERP or accounting system data
